My buddy and I took an R1 and my FZR offroading... We were riding along when suddenly we spotted a park entrance. All off road and pretty much a trail. We figured that clearly, our bikes were perfect for this sort of exploration and continued on until we found this!
Unfortunately we couldnt ride down to where i took these pictures from. There was some clearance issues with our exhausts.
These rocks continued all the way behind our bikes until it reached a much larger lake area.
Good scale of the area. And yes, we explore in full leathers and race boots. I mean, who doesnt?!
Today happened to be the first ride on my brand new tires. I had literally only put 50 miles on them before going off road and finding this. And then it rained on us as we were getting out of the woods. Which made for less than substantial traction, and muddy sections...
Now kids, this is the stuff they dont teach you in a MSF course. Taking rice rockets into the woods. Just accept the fact that if your bike falls, its probably not coming out of the woods under its own power...

Damn, you guys are pretty awesome!
Hope you both had like colossal massive huge tremendous gigantic frame sliders though.

We live life on the edge. And that means frame sliders are for chums!
(lol, in all seriousness, its not worth the cost to put them on mine, and his bike is a salvaged bike to begin with, and he is slowly making it a track bike. track bike offroading... lol. Think of it like the top gear cheap car challenges. Except we have cheap bikes)

Haha, Gotcha.
If I'm to get a new bike, frame sliders are a must.

Id get frame sliders too on my next bike. The other thing is even if i had frame sliders on the bike today, i doubt they would have saved much on the terrain we encountered haha.
Btw, any luck with the new bike?

Haha, Yeah. It'd probably be pretty smashed up either way.
But sadly, no updates on finding a new bike. I've been looking into some Supermoto-Style bikes, but really haven't found any keepers.

Yup, I'd like one. But I'd also like a sportbike. I'm very conflicted, Haha.

I must say, that has to be the most creative and thorough way to scrub in new tires I've ever seen!
